So How does it work?

The studio runs on a “Not for Profit Basis” and it targeted primarily at artists and bands who are writing and recording their own material. What this means is that if your project is something we feel we can help you with then you are invited to come in and record free of charge. In practical terms this means the follow: 1) If you have a song or songs that you want to record then contact us and see what studio slots are available. 2) Make a rough recording of what you would like to record (e.g. a recording on your Phone or similar) and send it to us. If it is a style that we can help you with then we can pick a time and get you booked in. 3) To secure your booking we need a €100 deposit, payable at time of booking. You will received a full refund of your deposit if you a) Arrive on the agreed day or b) Cancel your booking at least 7 calendar days in advance If you dont show on the day or fail to cancel within 7 days you will lose your deposit and it will be donated to charity. 4) The Studio mainly operates on Saturdays and Sundays 5) Before you arrive you need to fill in the “Hold Harmless Agreement” and send it to us. This basically means that you are coming to the studio as an invited guest and that you waive any rights for your personal liability, injury etc.

On the Day

1) Bring a written version of the song lyrics if applicable. 2) Know the song you want to record. (Seems obvious but not always the case) 3) If possible write out the structure of the song, i.e. Verse, Chorus, etc. 4) Most sessions run 6-8 hours
